Microcement, Marble and Wood – Harmonious Combination. [Photos]

Nowadays, more and more people are focusing on functionality and aesthetics when arranging their home. Combining an open-plan kitchen with a dining room and living room is a popular solution for creating a spacious interior with a unified character. One of the key elements of such an arrangement is the choice of appropriate materials that will harmonise with each other and bring the right atmosphere into the interior. The realisation by Pracownia Betonu perfectly meets these requirements.

One room – many functions

In this article we focus on the open-plan kitchen connected to the dining room. If you are curious about the design of the living room, please keep an eye on our blog, as we will soon post a full description of this room.

The kitchen is the heart of every home, so it is important that it is arranged with attention to every detail. In this project, the kitchen was finished with beige microcement flooring, which harmonises perfectly with the wooden kitchen wall, creating a coherent and harmonious whole. The island with marble top adds warmth and elegance to the interior, and the black cylinder-shaped cooker hood hanging above it is an interesting and modern element. Black stools placed by the island complete the arrangement, emphasising its minimalist yet elegant character.

The dining room is where the family gathers to share meals and conversations. The same materials as in the kitchen – beige microcement flooring and wooden elements – continue in this space. A white table forms the centrepiece of the dining area, while comfortable wood-tone leather chairs with black legs bring a touch of luxury and sophistication.

Lighting

When designing the kitchen, dining and living room, it is also worth paying attention to the lighting, which can further enhance the charm of each room. In the case of this project, the use of unique white lamps suspended above the dining table help to create a pleasant atmosphere, conducive to relaxation and rest. What’s more, both the kitchen and the rest of the room have spacious windows that let in plenty of light, adding brightness to the space. This natural illumination emphasises the unique character of the interior, while making the rooms even more welcoming and comfortable.

This project is a great example of how to combine different materials in one common design, to create a coherent, harmonious and functional interior that will impress not only with its aesthetics, but also with its durability and ease of maintenance. With the right choice of colours, textures and lighting, the space takes on a unique atmosphere that is sure to appeal to even the most demanding users.
