Industrial living room with micro concrete floor [photos]

We have just received photos from the installation of a micro concrete floor from another satisfied client. Ms Joanna has chosen gray microcement as a finishing floor in the living room with open kitchen in her new home. Check out how the  interior was totally rocked out by our micro concrete!

Micro concrete floor

A micro concrete floor is an ideal solution for people who are looking for a smooth, uniform surface without joints. The micro concrete is durable, easy to maintain, discreet and elegant. It is just perfect for the kitchen zone, because of its water resistance. In addition, it can be used for underfloor heating, which is especially important for single-family houses (all you need to remember is to prepare the surface properly).

Joanna proved that the industrial style can be cozy. Her living room is bright and spacious. The client opted for large windows without drapes or curtains (instead, dark wooden blinds were selected), white walls and a jointless minimalist floor made of micro concrete with a discreet satin finish. According to the interior design rules of industrial style, the entire 1st floor of the house is one space, there are no separate rooms. The living room was combined with open kitchen and dining room, which further enhances the impression of spaciousness and gives a sense of freedom.  The interior is dominated by simplicity. Furniture and accessories are few, but they are carefully selected. The room features a neutral palette (white, black, grey, beige), letting bold architectural features and dynamic textures take the stage. Natural materials are go-to picks: jute rope rug, table with solid wood top, concrete floor. The only decorations are graphics and posters on the walls and plants. Unbroken, neat and peaceful space is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. When you have room to breathe, you have room in your head to think calm thoughts – that’s obvious. A large comfy sofa is set up for relaxation and a charming coffee table from the trunk of the tree adds to the interior coziness. The last factor that helped to create a calm modern interior are previously mentioned big windows. They established a connection with the outdoors – it’s hard not to relax when surrounded by fresh air, beautiful greenery and the sounds of nature, isn’t it?

Thank you, Joanna, for choosing our products!
