FESTFLOOR TITAN – hard microcement for floors and stairs
FESTFLOOR TITAN microcement is the number one choice in heavily used spaces. FESTFLOOR TITAN is a finishing material that stands out for its exceptional hardness and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for high-traffic areas.
HARDNESS AT A NEW LEVEL
FESTFLOOR TITAN hard microcement was developed for the most demanding users who need a material that can withstand intensive use. Thanks to a formula consisting of two components – a colored compound and a hardener – FESTFLOOR TITAN provides hardness that you won’t find in standard microcements.
It is ideal for areas where floors are exposed to heavy use: floors in hallways, floors in kitchens or living rooms, stairs, as well as spaces such as garages, industrial halls or commercial facilities. Thanks to its exceptional hardness, FESTFLOOR TITAN not only provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance, but is also resistant to damage, scratches and abrasion.
APPLICATION OF FESTFLOOR TITAN MICROCEMENT:
- floors in houses and apartments;
- floors in offices, catering buildings, warehouses, public areas;
- finishing of stairs;
- bathroom floors;
- walls;
- cladding of kitchen countertops and other furniture;
- cladding of doors and columns;
- creation of uniform, modern, easy-to-clean surfaces that are an alternative to their “grout” counterparts.

How to apply FESTFLOOR TITAN microcement?
FESTFLOOR TITAN is a simple microcement system, for the application of which you will need basic tools such as trowels, oscillating sanders and an industrial vacuum cleaner. Proper application of microcement (such as on a floor) involves three key steps:
Substrate preparation
Preparation of the substrate is a key step before the application of FESTFLOOR TITAN microcement . The surface should be smooth, stable and free of loose parts. Microcement is a decorative layer and is not intended to level the surface or fill in cavities, so any irregularities should be corrected beforehand.
After such surface preparation, the substrate should be primed with FESTGrunt, which will improve its adhesion and reduce absorption. This will ensure that the microcement will bond evenly with the substrate, and the system will achieve proper durability and adhesion. Priming is done with a roller, applying one or two coats – depending on how absorbent the surface is. There should be an interval of 2-4 hours between applications until the primer is completely absorbed into the substrate.

Application of Festfloor Titan microcement
Once the substrate has been prepared and primed, you can proceed with the application of FESTFLOOR TITAN Microcement . The product consists of a colored compound (component A) and hardener (component B), which should be combined in the appropriate proportions, according to the information on the package or in the technical sheet. Once the two components are thoroughly mixed to a uniform consistency, application can begin.
The first layer of microcement should be applied with a trowel, spreading the mass evenly to a thickness of no more than 1 mm. Movements should be vigorous and guided in different directions to achieve the desired decorative effect. It is important to apply the material using the “wet on wet” method, moving successively along the surface.
After about 5 hours, when the microcement layer has dried, the surface should be sanded with 80-120 grit paper, depending on the desired finish. Then thoroughly dust off the dust and apply another coat in the same manner.
The second coat should also be sanded after drying (about 5 hours) in order to obtain a smooth and uniform surface. After vacuuming the surface again, you can proceed to impregnate the microcement to protect it from damage and moisture.

Sealing
Finally, protect the microcement with two layers of sealer/varnish: PU FEST 2K or PU FEST TURBO. It is best to use a roller with short bristles (about 8 mm) for application, which allows even distribution of the product. The second coat can be applied after about 4 hours without sanding, or after 24 hours after lightly sanding the surface with sandpaper of 220 gradation.
For PU FEST 2K sealer, we recommend using 3K Plus additive, which significantly improves its mechanical properties. Thanks to it, the sealer becomes more resistant to wear and tear, and its service life is extended. This is an ideal solution for surfaces exposed to intensive use.

MICROCEMENT SAMPLES
Choosing the right color of microcement becomes easier with a 28×28 cm sample, which allows you to get a closer look at the color and texture of the material. It allows you to see how the microcement will look in a particular room, in natural light. The sample is a great tool for comparing different shades and creating moodboards, as well as for experimenting with different design ideas.
