How to make an expansion joint in a microcement floor?

 

Cutting the expansion joint in the microcement floor is one of the last stages that the contractor performs. In today’s video tutorial, we’re showing you how to make an incision step by step so that the joint is even and aesthetic.

You will need a few tools to make an expansion joint cut. The most commonly used are:

  • laser
  • circular saw for concrete
  • guide-rail
  • oscillating multitool
  • sandpaper
